RAPCO is for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women the agency is dedicated to gender equality. The agency was established to accelerate progress on meeting women’s needs across the region. It supports it is focused in achieving global standards of gender equality, and it works closely with civil society organizations and governments in agitating for women.
RAPCO is focused on priorities areas like Women having autonomy, that All women and girls live a life free from all forms of violence. Women and girls contribute to and have greater influence in building sustainable peace and resilience, and benefit equally from the prevention of natural disasters and conflicts and humanitarian action. RAPCO also closely works on positioning gender equality as fundamental to the sustainable development goals.
