The main goal of this programme is to contribute towards improved health and quality of life and reduce poverty levels through provision of water and sanitation services to communities on a sustainable basis.
Our education program is geared towards addressing the high rate of dropouts for school going children in our target communities. We develop school infrastructure by building classrooms as well as well install solar pumps in water storage tanks to preserve water.
RAPCO promotes environmental education. Mass education will be undertaken to promote afforestation, discourage deforestation, encourage proper waste disposal, and natural resource management.

RAPCO is non-profit organization in Kenya and Ethiopia with a mission to prevent and stop sexual violence and abuse against children as well as all forms of gender based violence in protecting The 2010 Constitution of Kenya (Article 53).
Rural agency for pastoral community organization (RAPCO) is a local non-governmental organization working with Pastoral communities in Northern Kenya.it was initiated by young local professionals who have vast experience in humanitarian work. RAPCO was registered in Kenya as a Community Based Organization (CBO) in 2018 and later with NGO Coordination Board as a fully-Fledged NGO on December 2022.
RAPCO works in two countries in the Horn of Africa (HOA) including: Kenya and Ethiopia. It has bigger scope and strives to formulate a long term strategy that will enable the cross border communities to actualize peaceful co-existence and allow sharing of the cross-border natural resources. RAPCO has offices in Mandera and Turkana and field presence in Isiolo, Wajir,Garissa,Samburu and Marsabit in Kenya.its original mandate was to solely undertake pastoral community empowerment programmes and advocate for gender equality.

Water Sanitation & Hygiene
We create community awareness on water related diseases; improve capacity for managing sanitation facilities, support appropriate solid and liquid waste management programs, use of suitable hygiene and sanitation approaches and messages for change of behaviour.
Many children around the world remain disadvantaged in their school experiences either through inadequate teaching materials, lack of sanitation facilities, and lack of food, discrimination, harassment and even violence. These conditions are not conducive to learning or development, and no child should have to experience them.

RAPCO is working to integrate gender justice into climate change through raising awareness and empowering women.
Conflict causes massive internal and cross-border displacement, preventing households from engaging in typical livelihood activities, and inhibits economic growth by hampering the extraction natural resources and disrupting markets and trade routes as well as limiting access and sharing of grazing resources.
RAPCO will put in place community managed disaster risk reduction (CMDRR) program that ensures that our programs and activities are informed by the outcome of the CMDRR and proper mitigation measures put in place for a climate resilient and sustainable communities.
RAPCO is for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women the agency is dedicated to gender equality. The agency was established to accelerate progress on meeting women’s needs across the region. It supports it is focused in achieving global standards of gender equality, and it works closely with civil society organizations and governments in agitating for women.
RAPCO works with its project partners to find sustainable solutions to preserve critical habitats, protect endangered species, combat the illegal wildlife trade and poaching, empower local communities and promote environmental education and reduce-wildlife conflicts.
